Find a Registered Migration Professional

We do not provide immigration assistance. If you require legal strategies or application reviews, we can connect you with vetted MARA-registered practitioners.

⚖️ Agent Partnership Disclosure

VisaClarity Australia is an education hub and is not a migration agency. We do not provide advice. We may receive referral or listing fees from registered professionals in our network. You are under no obligation to engage any agent we introduce. Always check the official OMARA Register before signing contracts.

What is a MARA Agent?

In Australia, anyone who provides immigration assistance must be registered with the **Office of the Migration Agents Registration Authority (OMARA)**. Registered agents are bound by a strict Code of Conduct and must maintain up-to-date knowledge of migration law.

Using an unregistered agent in Australia is illegal and provides you with zero consumer protection.

🛡️ Immigrant Safety: How to Spot a Visa Scam

Unfortunately, many vulnerable visa applicants fall victim to migration fraud. Protect yourself by running this quick checklist on any agent or agency you communicate with:

  • No OMARA Number: Registered agents MUST display their 7-digit Migration Agent Registration Number (MARN) on their website and emails. Search their number at mara.gov.au.
  • Guaranteed Approvals: Legally, no agent can guarantee a visa approval or a nomination. If they claim a "100% guarantee", it violates the OMARA Code of Conduct and is a major warning sign.
  • Guaranteed Job Offers: Be highly cautious of packages offering a visa combined with a "guaranteed employment sponsor" for a massive fee. Real employers do not sell jobs.
  • No Written Contract: Registered agents are legally required to provide a written service agreement (Agreement of Services) outlining services and fees before accepting payments.
  • Requests to bypass regulations: If an operator asks you to submit falsified documents, fake employment letters, or misleading English certificates, they are fraudulent and put you at risk of a 10-year ban.
